  1. In the app, go to Settings → Account Center → Account ownership and control → Deactivation or deletion.

  2. Select your account, tap Delete account, and confirm. Done. Instagram Help Center

  3. Want a copy of your pics first? In Settings → Your information → Download your data, request the .zip.
